With over 225 First Communion portrait sessions under my belt, across more than 25 Catholic and Greek Orthodox churches around Atlanta, I've pretty much mastered the art of helping a nervous eight-year-old feel comfortable in front of the camera. I know the flow of the Mass, where to stand so I'm not in anyone's way, and how to catch the moment your child looks genuinely proud of themselves.
I'm also a mom, so I get the mix of emotions this day brings. These are the photos that end up framed at grandma's house and tucked into a keepsake album your child pulls out one day to show their own kids. I'd love to be part of yours.
